Department 01 · Pattern & Prep
Every quality uniform begins with precision cutting. In our dedicated cutting department, master cutters inspect and spread uniform fabric bolts into multi-ply layers across expansive heavy-duty cutting tables.
Using industrial vertical-knife cutting machinery and calibrated size blocks, each component—collars, yokes, sleeves, plackets, and trouser panels—is sliced with millimeter accuracy to guarantee consistent fit across all student sizes.
Department 02 · Garment Assembly Lines
Our garment assembly floor operates two specialized production divisions: dedicated assembly lines for formal school uniforms, and dedicated activewear lines for student tracksuits and sports uniforms.
Division A · Formal School Wear
Our dedicated School Uniform Sewing division operates under clear departmental floor signage. Experienced tailors and machine operators assemble shirts, pleated skirts, pinafores, trousers, blazers, and ties.
Each operator handles specialized stages—from fusing collars and setting sleeves to stitching durable pocket bags—ensuring clean stitch density and enduring seam strength for daily school wear.
Division B · Active & Winterwear
Sports uniforms and student tracksuits demand specialized stretch handling and high-tensile construction. Our secondary sewing division focuses exclusively on tracksuits, sports warm-ups, fleece jackets, and PE shorts.
Equipped for athletic textiles, operators assemble flexible knit panels, stitch sturdy zipper tracks, and insert multi-needle elastic waistbands built to survive rigorous sports days and playground activity.
Department 03 · Crests & Monograms
An institution’s crest represents its pride and identity. Our in-house computerized embroidery department features industrial multi-head embroidery machinery that stitches school monograms with microscopic fidelity.
We convert emblem artwork into precision stitch-density files, using colorfast, lustrous polyester thread that withstands countless wash cycles without fading or unravelling.
Department 04 · Detail & Cleaning
After leaving the assembly lines, every uniform piece is transferred to our dedicated thread trimming department. Here, skilled trimming specialists manually inspect every seam of the garment.
Using precision micro-snips, loose thread ends, jump stitches, and stray fibers are cleanly removed from inner and outer seams, ensuring the garment feels smooth against student skin and looks crisp.
Department 05 · Steam Pressing
A crisp uniform makes an immediate impression. Our finishing floor uses heavy industrial steam irons with vacuum suction pressing tables to lock in garment shapes and eliminate packing wrinkles.
Collar edges are pressed flat, skirt pleats are heat-set, and trouser creases are aligned with razor sharpness, preparing every uniform for retail presentation or direct institutional distribution.
Department 06 · Inspection & Standards
Quality assurance at Pragati Venus is an uncompromising, independent gateway that every production run must pass. Inspectors audit each garment against strict size tolerances, stitch strength benchmarks, and aesthetic standards.
Measuring chest width, collar circumference, sleeve length, shoulder span, and trouser inseams against calibrated school specification charts with zero tolerance for sizing defects.
Pull testing buttons to verify anchor security, testing zippers across multiple open-close cycles, and load-stressing pocket corner bar-tacks to ensure they withstand active playground wear.
Auditing lockstitch density (10–12 stitches per inch), checking 5-thread overlock safety lines, and ensuring zero puckering, skipped stitches, or seam slippage.
Inspecting garments under high-luminance inspection lamps to detect any weave flaws, needle holes, oil spots, or shade variations across assembled fabric panels.
Department 07 · Packaging & Logistics
After passing Quality Control inspection, garments move to the Packing Department for protective packaging, size-specific tagging, grade-level bundling, and reinforced boxing for reliable delivery across Nepal.
Garments are uniformly folded around moisture-resistant stiffeners and sealed in clear, heavy-gauge polybags to protect fabrics from humidity, dust, and transit handling.
Every polybag receives clear, visible label stickers identifying the school name, garment type, student grade/section, and exact size specifications for easy sorting.
Individual items are systematically grouped into class-wise bundles or school-house sets, allowing school administrators to distribute uniforms directly without sorting hassles.
Bundles are packed into heavy-duty corrugated cartons, strapped securely, weatherproofed, and manifested for dispatch to schools across Kathmandu and nationwide provinces.
